This is a 6 inch Itihas kukri, Itihaas referring to History. It is replica of one of the famous Gurkha blade which has been in use since the first world war. The kukri was used during the first world war which made the Gurkhas as well as Nepal  famous in the world. It is one of the most renowned kukri’s not just famous for its role in war but even amongst the knife collectors. It is one of the bestselling kukri’s. This particular one is a Custom made kukri of the Famous Gurkha kukri house. The blade of the kukri is made up of highly graded carbon steel (Car and jeep leaf spring, 5160). It is a full tang kukri . The handle is made Rosewood which are glued together by traditional Nepali glue called Laha. The handle has been modified by our factory in such a way that it’s more stable, comfortable and stronger than the one that was used during the World War. The modification gives the kukri a nice look along with better stability and endurance. There are two rivets securing the handle. The kukri comes with a Scabbard which is made up of water buffalo leather infused with pinewood. The kukri comes with two small accessory blades called Karda and Chammak. The handle is 4 inch and the blade is 6 inch. The overall length of the kukri is 10 inch.

Gurkha knife_ It is made in the homeland of the khukuri. The name refers to History, which denotes that the Gurkha knife is a historical one. This kukri is similar to the Paanwala. The High graded Carbon steel (Car and jeep leaf spring 5160) is used in the blade. The blade is handmade and unpolished.  Hence it is a strong knife. The khukuri had a major role in the past while the developing Era of the whole world. Being the smaller size it is very good for the hunting purpose. It has been made with the motto to help all the people who love going to the jungle for hunting purpose.

The handle is of Rosewood. Finally, a traditional Nepali glue called Laha is used to fuse the wood. The size of the blade is 6 inch, It is a full tang kukri. The overall length is 10 inches, with the handle being 4  inches long. It is one of the most comfortable kukris. Overall it has been used for a long time in daily activities. The water buffalo leather and pinewood is the fuse to make scabbard. The Gurkha kukri knife comes in various shapes and sizes. The kukri weights 500 gms. Moreover, we do not have a huge factory for the manufacture of the khukuri we collect from place to place and fewer people are only involved in this job. The process of making the khukuri is a big process but the people making them are taken as the lower caste people in our country. So, the job is hard but they are not paid enough hence only a limited number of the people are involved in doing these jobs.
