We’re proud to present a full sized Khukri(Kukri) in the Bhojpuri style that we call Hunter Kukri. This beauty got its name due to its uncanny resemblance to classic hunting knives of America and Europe. It offers a 10” blade of differentially heat treated 5160 spring steel, which is unparalleled in toughness for knife steels. The edge of the Hunter Kukri is razor sharp and able to tackle the toughest chores you can imagine, from felling small trees and processing firewood, to (in a pinch) skinning and processing game animals, to even being used as the Khukris of old were- fearsome tools of war… The grip of the Hunter Kukri is in the panawal style meaning that the high quality scales are pinned directly to the tang of the knife. This particular model features beautiful buffalo horn scales, a stainless steel finger guard, and birds beaked pommel, able to comfortably hold your hand in place during the fiercest chopping stroke! The sheath is traditional wood covered in high quality leather, and comes with the traditional Karda and Chakmak… We’re sure your Hunter will give you a lifetime of service, and enjoyment!
The materials used in the Hunters Kukri is Highly Graded Carbon Steel(5160), Water Buffalo refine Leather for Scabbard(outside) and Rosewood for the Handle, Pinewood for the Scabbard (inside), Laha( Nepali Traditional Glue). The hardness of the steel is spine: 22-25 RC, belly: 45-46 RC, edge: 58-60 RC. This kukri have been made from the black smith living in the eastern part of the Nepal. This is going to be the perfect kukri for the hunters and the kukri lovers.
