13 Inch Historical Military knifes Wood And Bone Handle Secured Tang:

The Hardness of the steel spine 22-25 RC, Belly 45-46 RC, edge 58-60 RC. The material used in this khukuri is highly graded carbon steel, (car and jeep, 5160). The overall length of military knives is 13 Inches. This famous khukuri is made from the western part of Nepal. The total weight is 1042 gms. This knife is secured tang. The scabbard has a beautiful decoration. This knife is usually used at the household purpose like chopping vegetables. Since the blade Have both wood and the bone so it for both the people who like wood and bone or either of one. The blade style is that of the original khukuri. The 13 Inch Historical kukri is with a modification handle but with the same style of blade.

You may not know how to take out the kukri from the sheath. So, always draw the khukuri from scabbard slowly holding the upper edge of the scabbard with palm and fingers. Avoid encircling the scabbard with your fingers. It may cause injury to your inner fingers. For the maintenance of the kukri: if you are going to keep it inside the scabbard for a long time, make sure the blade is well oiled with any kind of machine oil or gun oil. If you have a displaying stand as shown in the photo than, just keep the blade clean and dry. In case of rust develop on the blade rub it with fine sandpaper.
