More about Nepali kukri:
The blade of 4-inch Nepali kukri is made by the continual beating/forging process by hand into shape. The blade (with an 8″ cutting edge) is made of high-quality carbon steel (leaf springs of trucks or cars, usually from German Mercedes). These are differentially hard, with water being poured on the edge portion of the blade so that it produces a hard edge, but leaves the spine tough. The grip/handle is a full 4.5 long. The material used in the Nepali kukri is Highly Graded Carbon Steel, (car & Jeep leaf spring, 5160)Water Buffalo refine Leather for Scabbard(outside) and Water Buffalo Bone for the Handle, Pinewood for the Scabbard (inside), Laha( Nepali Traditional Glue). The handle of the kukri is full tang of Indian rosewood.
The Sheath is made of hand-worked water-buffalo leather. The place of origin of the kukri is in east Nepal i.e in Dharan. The overall length of the dragon wood handle kukri is 8 inches. The hardness of the steel is spine 22-25 RC, belly 45-46 RC, edge 58-60 RC. The overall weight of the kukri is 115 gms. The style of the khukuri is so like that everyone likes it. The upper edge of the blade has so nice ups and downs cutting. If its ones go in anybody the harm of the upper part is more than that of the lower part. So this is another perfect piece for the hunter. This can even cut the bone and it is ever easy to chop the meat. This can even be used in cutting the big trees.
Just look at the picture at the side you are surely gone like it. Even the handle has an easy finger grabbing way. It has made a way to make the user feel comfortable. The name itself is amazing and so is the knife so it will be perfect for hunting and for daily uses. Once you used it you automatically want to share with your friends and family.
